Etsy Store now open!

I'm delighted to say I now have an Etsy store - this should make it much easier for people to buy prints as all the credit card/paypal & shipping cost calculations can be handled by a properly laid out site. I have a few prints up already. Soon I'll be adding some original sketches too - and of course, starting tomorrow there will be the first of the Auto Art Advent cars. Hope you like it.

Auto Art Advent

Here's the plan. Every day of December I'll be posting a new postcard-sized watercolour and pencil sketch of a made-up car and for £24 I'll post it anywhere in the world. Nice presents for any car fans in your life - or just enjoy the pictures.

1932 Ford model B

A very quick sketch of this great looking car. It looked like a barn find with plenty of rust, dents, bare springs on the back seat but apparently ran really well - having covered some big distances recently. I guess it takes more than being forgotten in a barn for a few decades to kill one of these.

Spent a very enjoyable 3 hours sitting on the floor in front of this this morning. So many interesting details - lots of character.

HAMB T-shirt

I was delighted to be asked to do a design for the HAMB Drags. However, once I actually started on it I realised how difficult a good T-shirt design is to do. This was the best I could come up with - sadly it wasn't quite good enough - I think it perhaps came out looking a bit too much like a kids t-shirt. Ah well, I'll try again some time. Incidentally it was all done in Adobe Ideas on the iPad.

Toys!

I've been reliving my childhood thanks to my Dad who bought me the reissue of the Tamiya Rough Rider I had as a 10 year old. Had a lot of fun putting it together with Finn - and then doing donuts on the gravel drive. It's ace.
