I've managed to get out and do some more sketching during lunchtime. I'm slowly getting the hang of it again. These took about half an hour to 40 minutes each.
Here's a sketch of the replica of John Cabots boat the Matthew - which he used to sail to Newfoundland in 1497. I think he'd have a few things to say about the crows nest which I drew far too big. I need to get some more practise in.
I'm trying to get back into the habit of drawing from life again so here's a couple from the last 2 days. One is of the construction works on the other side of the river from where I work. The other is our house obscured by 12ft sunflowers.
